Mindful Mondays

Mondays 12-12:30

All Fullerton College students, staff, faculty, and administrators are welcome to join us for a half-hour mindfulness practice held on Zoom.

Spring 2021 Online Dates: 2/01, 2/08, 2/22, 3/01, 3/08, 3/15, 3/22, 4/05, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/03, 5/10, 5/17

Mindfulness Workshops for FC Students

Are you intrigued to learn how mindfulness can help you enhance your ability to pay attention, increase your overall well-being, and improve your academic performance? If so, please join us for free workshops held fall and spring semesters to learn about the basics of mindfulness. These workshops are open to all Fullerton College students! 

Spring Dates/Times: 2/11: 3-4:30; 3/02: 2-3:30; and 4/19: 3-4:30.

Thoughtful Thursdays

All Fullerton College students, staff, faculty, and administrators as well as Fullerton community members are invited to join us for these half-hour mindfulness practices from 5-5:30 on Thursdays throughout the semester.

The Spring 2021 Series will be held on the following dates: 2/04, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/04, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/08, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/06, and 5/13 from 5-5:30 pm.

Anyone who has an interest in building a practice of mindfulness or experienced practitioners who want to participate in a drop-in practice are encouraged to attend.

Making Friends with Yourself: A Mindful Self-Compassion Program for Young Adults

Making Friends With Yourself (MFY) is a no-cost 8-week program held each fall and spring semester that offers participants specific tools in mindfulness and self-compassion to recognize and manage their everyday struggles. This course helps participants learn how to meet life’s challenges with kindness and compassion.

This program will not be held during the Spring 2021 semester. If you are interested in joining our next cohort in Fall 2021, please complete the information requested on this interest list and you will be contacted with more information before the program begins in Fall 2021.
